Apex NC is one of the fastest-growing towns in the Research Triangle area, but still holds onto to its small town charm. It’s at the top of several national rankings year after year, earning a #9 ranking on Money Magazine’s annual Best Places to live list and a spot on Family Circle’s Top 10 Best Towns for Families.
Historic downtown Apex features antique and specialty gift shops, mom and pop restaurants and a Farmer’s Market during the summer months. The town hosts annual events like Peak Fest, the Apex Jazz Festival, Pig Fest, and an Old Fashioned 4th of July parade, the annual Turkey Trot and Christmas parade. The art scene is particularly active here, with a cultural arts center, art gallery and year-round concert series. For outdoor fun, there’s roughly 400 acres of parks, greenways, baseball diamonds, and tennis courts.
The large Beaver Creek Commons Shopping complex has all your favorite stores such as TJMax and HomeGoods, Lowes Home Improvement and so many more. There is a new Costco shopping center down the road with additional stores and places to eat.
